About the Inspiration for Rainbow Paws
The depth of grief and loss a person experiences when he or she loses a beloved pet is profound. For many of us our pets are our children; thus, losing a pet is like losing a child. While they are with us our pets provide us with companionship, unconditional love, comfort, and entertainment. They force us to love, to laugh, to breathe, and to be better human beings, so when they pass away a tremendous void is left in our lives, a void that will always remain even though the passage of time may eventually reduce the painful feelings associated with it.
During the grieving process friends can help by sending heartfelt sympathy cards or notes, by writing remembrances or poems about the pet, or by the gift of a personalized photo memorial of the pet. It was with the intention of providing comfort, support, and reassurance to friends who'd just lost pets that the idea of Rainbow Paws began. Using photos and feelings I get about the pet I will create a unique graphic design that will honor the memory of the pet as a print for framing or as a condolence card. Begin the process by sending me photos, telling me about the pet, and sharing any design ideas you may have. I will then start to create a special photo tribute to the pet and email you the first proof upon completion. It can take up to three weeks to complete a design so patience is required.
Rainbow Paws also sells a line of ready-made cards and several sentimental prints suitable for framing that can include a photo of your pet and personalized text. We will be adding more ready made cards soon and have plans to include some holiday designs as well so check back frequently!
